Hello Reader!

Some of you have been with me on this journey since the very beginning. It all started back in 2010 when I was a young mom with four boys under the age of 7. Looking back now, it was a wild and crazy time!

I started my blog and email list as a way to save money on everyday expenses, which helped us do more fun things like travel. Food was a big expense, and with growing boys, I knew it would only get more costly (and trust me, we’re definitely in that stage now!). One way I cut costs was through couponing. It wasn’t the Extreme Couponing you see on TV, but it helped me pay about a third of what things usually cost in Hawaii. A huge help came from collaborating with other bloggers, including one from Alaska who shared similar deals as pricing and stores were the same. We started sharing blog posts and linking to each other, which was a life saver.

Then, she introduced me to a new company featuring mascara—one of my favorite things! That was the start of my 11 1/2 year Younique journey, which brought me lots of wonderful friendships and personal growth. Recently, I didn't hit the new sales minimums, so I've been moved from Brand Ambassador to Customer status.

But I'm excited to share that I am transitioning to a new company called Beauty Society. I've been using and loving their products since 2021 but didn't want to confuse anyone or mess with any compliance rules. Now, you'll see me talking more about Beauty Society and my skincare routine on my blog. This transition feels so natural because, at my age, skincare has become a higher priority for me. After all, great skin makes any makeup look fantastic! I'm thrilled to share this journey with you and can't wait to tell you all about these wonderful products.
